While the design and the lines are really impresive, what have me really amazed is the colores, awesome.

Love the subpixel hinting! You manage to cram in more detail than there are pixels. I think the stripe down the middle of the buff guy hurts the simplicity of the outfits. The stripes on the girl's legs do, too. Just the way I see it. Love the progression!

 I really love the progression over the years. Those first two where just amazing :)
There's not one problem with readability, these are great. 

 First and third one from the right are WIN.

Readability is a little iffy on these, but that's easily ignored.

Yes please! I especially like the little girl.

Also, I reckon it would be better if you left the palette out of the final image...it's really quite distracting.
