Looks nice, but there is alot of banding in some places. Especially the floor.

hehe thx :) for the character, it's an armadillo as the tittle suggest, i will try to solve this problem when my buddy is back, i'm kinda worried at the moment because at his country, it have an awakened volcano that litterally explosed recently.

Looking good :O The back of the character sprite blends into the BG a bit though =/ Maybe it's not as noticeable once the game is moving but on the static image its spikes (?) almost completely vanish. And I imagine when it runs across certain areas of the BG they really do vanish!
I like... really dig that BG, speaking of which. I think it's a lot harder to exercise restraint in that area than most people think. However, the long horizontal lines on the round leafy bits (maybe I should circle this and upload it or something, I am so unclear) are jarring if you look at them long enough. Maybe either rounding them *or* making them more blatantly rectangular would solve it? Not sure.
