I love the way the you gave the lava incandescence by making it only one color shade. The composition is great, too. It captures the emotion of opening a treasure chest.

 man this is stunning, i would suggest some work on the magma or lava whatever the jazz

I'll add some reflections.

I hust didn't have or will have the nerve to make the bloody anti-alias for this one.

I know the rock in the middle appears to be blobby, but I think it works since it's also less defined

 This could definitely use some AA and some redness on the rocks near the edge of the lava, as others have said, but it's beautiful overall, also as others have said.

Very nice glowing cavern feel.  I think to create an even more feeling of this is to use a solid darker color on the fore-most rocks.  The backsides of them seem too light...plus this would create more contrast between the next layer out.

The yellow lava-like thing disturbs me a bit but if you can do this in a couple of hours, wonder what can you do with [this] .

all of the stalagmites and stalactites seem to lack any sense of volume and end up falling a bit flat... the texture is nice but things could definitely be cleaned up a bit. my favorite bit is the large rock formation in the background.

Very nice colours. The top part of the large rock in the middle looks a little blobby. I love the atmosphere and lighting effect.

 Love it, although I agree with tomic, a red tint to the rocks nearest to the lava would give it a bit more life :>

dunno though, maybe there should be some sort of red reflection on the rocks... cause lava, you know... lava glows :)
