Wow this is so awesome :D Good luck with your challenge
Kind of a disappointingly monotone color palette (which isn't your fault at all, given the challenge) but you seem to have worked with it well. Her left arm seems a bit off. It might be that it's a little too short, but I can't quite pinpoint what seems odd about it.
Edit: I think it might be what manupix mentioned, about the fingers.
It ended up a lot cooler!
The eyes don't look statueish though (Assuming that's a statue and not a living thing) and the wings have a bit too much contrast in comp arison to the body of the woman.
I like how the dress ended up.
Nice!
The wings might have been darker, less detailed, more textured maybe. As they are they take too much attention away from the face and body.
Maybe the face and staff globe could be the brightest parts, with the rest slightly more in shadow.
Also the lower hand is unnaturally stiff. You don't spread your fingers like this when you're relaxed!
Karv and Kaiseto: You're both totally right about the hand being unnaturally stiff. I'm tempted to go work on it some more, but I'm also terrified because it was so hard for me to make the hand look somewhat lifelike in the first place. Thanks for your advice, though!
