This is cool. Keep up the good work!
Indeed, people are picky... A drawing does not necessarily reflect real life physics and dimension. Plus, how the hell can one knows the ''real'' proportion of a fictional world?
Yes, I agree with you, now that you put it that way then. Still I dont think my comment on the bg was "picky"...
I dont think those comments were picky, but where aimed at improving the piece. That's one of the good things about the joint and pixelation. The comments raised are going to help not just shoe, but many other people on working on techniques like measuring anatomy amongst other things which is important in achieving a more refined piece of work for this type of picture, which is more important than the comment raised on the colour of the background - which to me was far more picky than the comment on anatomy. As the points were positive, it would help make the art shine a little more.
The picture is nice and I like the palette used, but I agree with the needed refinement disclosed in the comments below.
You guys are too PICKY, you pay attention to too small things. I know that PJ is for critic and comments on pixelart, but think about it: "Hey that other leg is a pixel longer than the other" Cmon.
I think this piece is great, background color looks like vomet tho, meaby change to a more spicy one?
Pretty nice, but some things that stick out to me:
-The feet are both on the same plane and he is standing straight. So why is the thing on the right (our side) shin angled but the left one is straight? This should not be the case.
-The thigh bone is the longest bone in the human body, ie. the upper leg is longer than the lower leg. This is something that I see a lot actually.
-The head seems a little bit small, esp since it is a helmet.
There is some banding going on with the left leg. Still, really well-done and chrisp. =)
I like the highlights on the leg. Also, I agree with the below 'picky' comments. They are there to improve an already good piece and make it even better.
