only to have some fun,,, fav , I can smell the forest on this ^^
Love the gritty look. Wish more games had been made with this "realistic" approach to sprites.
didn't see this til I saw the top for this month..looks awesome, always look forward to any pixels you do. I love the background and how you do all the different textures
When i saw the preview image i thought it was a monster's sharp teeth =D

For some reason the preview icon really reminded me of LoTR even though its just trees. I have no idea how or why, but great job. And yeah, those trees are awesome, and the sprites are really cool as well.

I like the background a lot, and the portraits/figures are very classy too. This would be an awesome game.

One could only wish to be nearly as good as you at pixel art. Not only so, but you happen to also be a programmer as well! Errrr, I'm so jelious of you. :(

Lord of the rings is awesome :D I think the trees could do with less contrast so the characters stand out more, but this is an excellent piece
This is greeeat :D Gimli's nose (portrait) could use a bit more definition, but everything else (sprites <3) is super readable :)
Wow! Really nice. Those character stand out perfectly.
Excellent style and colour choice! I also like Fangorn (?) in the background, or maybe it's the area where the fellowship split up? I'd prefer a more resolute expression in Aragorn's face, though.
PS: Looks like Gimli's already pretty much out of breath; he definitely had a hard time running with the tall folks. 
This is really sweet, the color palette is my favorite.
