I disagree completely These look superb to me. I see a lot of shape and definition and can basically stare at these for ages admiring them. I wish more sprites were like this. Certainly this artist has become among my very favorite low color spriters and I always look forward to more of this stuff. Which given the fact I'm generally very bored with pixel art overall is a huge deal.
@Riva - Thanks for the feed back. I originally thought about submitting it this way, but I don't take the extra time to get things all the way right when submitting... usually.
Most of it is right. The stance etc. But I think you tryed to cram too many details into too small sprites, destroying shading that defines a shape. So if I exagerate it, now I see a stylish white silouette with something like a noise of pixels over it.
Plus Im sorry but I dont really like this 'I made a tiny sprite and then duplicated it 150 times with minor variations' thing that I see on PJ a lot this days.
Your armor designs remind me of the suit in Vanquish. Good stuff.
