indeed they were. i haven't visited any of my old haunts for a good while, actually.. ;u;
haha, sometimes i seem to get a little carried away with shading and forget where it should be ! thank you so much for commenting and and critiquing ~
ahh, thanks !
i might do that.. i'm really out of practise with pixels though LOL. this should be fun ~
It's you again! and here you were worring that you wouldn't cut the mustard. Tanith just radiates cuteness, especially the face. I love the face! It is well colored, shaded, and proportioned.
My swing at the pinyada would be to point out the overly forward parts of the critter. The most blatant example is the tail-- looks like it grows off the side of the rump instead of the very end. I think it has to do with how much shine there is at the base of the tail.
Hope you know what I mean. Anyways, best of luck and have a good day.
SQUEE!
Ahem. Yes. Well. I was once a cyberpet person (back when cyberpets were static images on a page). Those were the days...
As a pixel artist, I agree with you about everything; it needs more contrast, the light source is kind of wonky, it's shiny... but as a cyberpeter, this is so sweet.
Though you have pointed out those things. This is still awesome! maybe do an update of the piece to show your improvement?
thank you !
yeah, that problem seems to rear its ugly head quite a lot in my work.. perspective/foreshortening is not one of my stronger points ! and you're right, maybe if i hadn't been so shine-happy with this picture it might've worked better xD
you too, and don't worry, your critique has been extremely helpful ;u;
