oh thanks , about the tail and legs u know there are sea turtles with out joints/claws(yes i know the legs then should of been longer ><) and the tail i just forget to pixel
, and the shell xD i just got bored or want to eat a pie.
This makes me think of this poem, which I love dearly.
Although colored very impressively, the anatomy here seems rather, well, lacking. For starters, its shell looks like a lumpy, overstuffed pie, nearly to the point where it could qualify for this week's challenge. The head and neck look abslolutely wonderful, you've certainly pulled off the texture on those wrinkles and the face; but they strike me as being oversized compared to the rest of the body. And unless crippled by some sort of birth deficiency, a turtle's legs are generally equipped with joints and claws, not stubby little nubs like this poor creature's. Now since you're probably in no mood to edit anything from scratch, you could at least add a tail, which, contrary to the evidence seen here, turtles do have.
I can see you did some referencing of Fool's latest piece, a style that carried over admirably well, but for this piece, I think you may have been better off studying real turtles.
"I'm on a hill! I'm on a hill! Take a good hard look at the mutha ****in' hill!"
Having the boy being on a green hill to find out it's a gargantuous turle reminds me of Dora and Boots discovering the red chicken was the big red hill.
Yes, totally random, I know... :P
Very well done! I love the texture.
