The trailer for the game-play is insane. Looks great! Man, this is quite inspiring. =)

Keep up the good work!

Thanks everyone! I'll be announcing the other platform soon, but yes it's also coming to WiiWare. Sorry it's taken so long to make the announcement but it's been beyond my control.

Seen the gameplay video some months ago and I loved it. This looks to be an awesome game.

Is it WiiWare only?

P.S.

Only weak part is the mario hills. Rest is spot-on.

Been waiting for this game since it was in the "Grand Theftendo" stage :)

Glad to see its comming out soon ^^

Stickman (Level 7 Sheriff) @ 12/7/2010 03:39

Very vibrant. I agree with the comment about having the cars and characters having a shadow to make them feel more grounded.

Nice!

user
Jabber (Level 3 Private Eye) @ 12/6/2010 12:06

Nicely done. Something about the color choices and heavily outlined style is very appealing.

user
ZeroSum (Level 5 Killer Klown) @ 12/5/2010 21:51

Sprites could use some shadows like Manupix suggested, but other than that the game looks badass! Can't wait to try it out.

jamesmorrow07 (Level 1 Jukyu) @ 12/5/2010 19:22

Wow! I can just see everything. Everything looks great. There's just so much life and activity! I'm get stoked more and more by the day till the day the game arrives.

Cool, I've been waiting for this game for a while now.

Love the style and palette, really looking forward to the game. Gameplay videos look very promising!

It should be launching simultaneously in Europe. I very much hope to do a sequel, but I need all of you guys to buy it for that to be possible ;)

user
Calv (Level 7 Assassin) @ 12/3/2010 06:55

Damn, us Europeans are always kept waiting, I guess we don't have it as bad a Australia.  Retro City Rampage looks great, you think there will be a sequel?

user
Vblank (Level 1 Rookie) @ 12/2/2010 11:37

Thanks! Yup, it's an actual game, coming to Europe next year. http://www.retrocityrampage.com

I did nearly all of the art (years of work of course!) and the amazing Maxime Trépanier did most of the rest (including its amazing cutscenes).

user
Calv (Level 7 Assassin) @ 12/2/2010 07:07

It looks awesome, Is this the actual art used in the game, did you work on it?  if so, when's it coming to Europe?

user
Manupix (Level 11 Godzilla) @ 12/1/2010 19:15

Looks nice, but maybe a bit too busy for optimal readability.

The sprites look like floating, they need cast shadows badly.

Great colors.
