the shading looks quite soft, i don't know if that was an intentional rendering of the material.
this reminds me of that boss in metroid fusion, coincidence? :p
Ah, okay. I'm used to seeing animated .gifs being animated with different programs, so I wasn't aware that you used iaza for this.
iaza doesn't allow me make the gif go any faster than that.
I mean the jump is really slow. Almost like how it would look if a person hopped on the moon. I think the legs should sort of move apart a bit afer it lands.
Well I didn't intend for it to have a fluid type of jumping. I gave it more of spring-ish jump.
I guess I could make the head move a little bit when it jumps and when it lands. Also what do you mean by physics? Do you mean how it actually manages to jump or something?
Not sure if you intended to consider physics for the demonstration, so I'll ignore that aspect. The legs are a bit stiff for a jump though. You could show some bending or more movement around the legs to make th emovement more believable/realistic.
This was of my own creation and I completely designed this robot myself, but its original design and movement was based on the B.O.X.
So yeah it should pretty much remind you of that robot based on how it moves and how its put together.
