I love the color choices here and the simple feeling is amazing <3

 The background and the health bar are full of pixely goodness. I like them. The rocks in the foreground tileset are a little funky around the thin section (the small rocks). I think it'd look better if the rocks were all about the same size.

 The yellow monster remind me Agumon, from digimon. Like it, awesome.
