I'm fairly happy with this piece at the moment, I may completely redo the hair, but not now. EDIT: I fixed a few problems a friend pointed out, as well as making a WIP animation http://i54.tinypic.com/1zyauip.gif

I see nothing that looks like a little girl here. I'm sure he didn't "choose the style" so he could get away with anything. Manga/anime isn't exactly an underground style, so it's not hard to believe someone chose the style just because... well, why not? Plenty of people do it.

@Morgengrauen, if you are referring to the disproportionately large hair, it is a particular style of manga, if i changed the hair you would find that she looked considerably older

@theguy, The body is anime, not shaded like a generic anime character (more like a manga cover art) but nonetheless proportions of an anime character. and yea I might remake the entire face/hair but only after I´ve finished with the piece I´m working on now

If you were trying to go for sexy (which you most likely were) then you shouldn't go for an anime face, you should go for a realistic face. Especially considering that the rest of the body isn't anime like except the hair.

I think when I seen it in public queue, there was no palette? With the palette I like it less, palettes always make things look unfinished. Very nice otherwise.
