1. i personally like ALL pixelart (even if i like iso a little bit more) and i look at all pixelart here and even if i don't comment it always (but nearly always xD ) i rate it. i know how happy i am if i read "1 message" (or even more) at the upper right corner or seeing that my pixelart got in the weekly showcase. and even if i can't say much to a picture, a post with "looks cool" and a press on the rating button is enogh.
2. isometric pixelart is really under the influence of money making sites like eboy or habbo. most people see only this and if they do they do a lot of crap (www.youtube.com/watch angry making video) trying to redraw the shapes they have seen without taking much time for it (at the beginning on PJ i think i was one of them  ,but because i work hours on my pictures now and really think of a theme, i think not anymore xD). redrawing the simple shapes is easy but good work takes much time ( over 10 hours spent on my crocomobile, and it's still not perfect). what i want to say: if you like the pixelart of eboy/etc. and you are able to do it well AND if it's fun for you, you should do it. it's an example against "look at my house" things to quote balamoot
3. you really had good ideas in your pixelart, i rated it 5 and i've taken much time to comment it. hope other people comment good iso pixelart too!

@jalonso: The rent is really impressive. And I'm not to argue with you, but your statement about this style and eboy is more than disputable.

And again: HERE isometric style is not popular at all. As most such works here are something like "Look at my first pixelart attempt! Here's my room \ a house!" And that's all. But when a descent iso is submitted usually it's underestimated seriously.

That's my point . And don't  give me examples dating 2005-2007, when totally another public used to swarm here.

 I think that large iso pieces like this are very pleasant to see.

Personally, i love to search all little details e watching what every little people do.

I think everyone search for these details, it's like searching Waldo, but more funny.

Back to the piece: it's cute, but i think it lacks depth. I don't know exactly but i think that you may add spotlights on the scene, and light emitting from all computer and monitors, and shadows according to those lights.

Isometric in this style is fine and accepted here and nothing is wrong with it at all. I rather like it and didn't think the intel logo was NPA???

This style, to PJ members, is not the most popular because we've seen so much of it and no matter how original a take is on it it always reminds one of eboy, for example. I think some people refuse to comment on this type of art but most DO look at them. Its just not the current 'in' style.

In real life most people only know this type of pixelart and the general public loves it. It will always have a place in pixelart and will always be accepted in Pixeljoint. This pixelart style makes a lot people a lot of money. It has its place. If there is ever a true high-end pixelart museum exhibit this type WILL be there. It belongs there.

But this style is not very popular here.
