The black outline is much criticized, but I see it as an asset, especially in 2D games to try to give the impression of height, he notes that the object (in this case the canopy) is above the ground.

I fully agreed with Manupix. From me ... black outlines are poor choice.
These mockups are not far from awesome, but they all more or less suffer from the same issues:
The ground tiles are too noisy and tile too obviously, you should make 2 or 3 versions of each to break the patterns, and it's ok to have flat empty patches of green for grass, that would leave the other elements with some attention space.
You also have an inconsistent shading: the trees and some earth tiles have an upper left light-source, the tree shadows on the ground don't follow that, and the rotated or upside-down earth tiles just mess with light and perspective.
Hope you keep at it and fix those problems, it's worth it!
