@Adarias/Ptoing: What I would really like to do is sit down for another hour or so and work on the palette, proportions, etc, to get a better match and to deal with the issues that are starting to pop out. I'm not sure if that's legit while the voting is running, though... :\ Maybe afterwards. Thanks for the comments!
Reminded me of Adarias when I saw it indeed. So that is a good thing :)
What looks odd is the shoulder. The arm looks detached from the rest of the body. There does not seem to be enough back or it is too far away.
piece is pretty great and imo it's better to make something good than make something like....well, me :P.
reminds a lot of vandal hearts, very stylish. colors lean towards tactics ogre.
