Looks very much like Chinese silk paintings, unless I mix them up with something. Almost no details, but the drawn is the essence.
That's true... this palette is really great... the first row of the palette has such an interesting mood...
Thanks, very good point! I hadn't thought of it at all yet, but now I can't unsee it.
I've been a little impatient uploading this piece, it needs more work. :/
I knew this was yours from the preview. Awesome colors as usual. I'm just a little confused by the village placement in proportion to the mountains I know the village is in the foregound on a foothill, but it still seems the mountains should be bigger. Or maybe less contrast on the mountains to set them in the distance more.
I know there are paintings that look like this though...so ignore my comments on the proportion as this is what I think you were going for. :-p dpixel <> good art critic I very much like it though.
waw manupix. you and your trees and your mountains and houses. Never stop :)
Thanks guys!
jal: agree, I went crazier with colors in the other piece. "watch those pixel shapes": do you mean clusters? * scratches head *
Mathias: beware the power of my antique vintage old pc collection! ;P
This is such a wonderful palette. Had the ISO-COLLOGY collab not been an underground theme this palette could have easily won.
The scene could have used more experimental color play as the palette easily allows it...watch those pixel shapes ;)
beautiful landscape!
