Lots of detail! I love 16x16, but for most of my games I use 20x20 for more clarity. Even though it's not a round hex number, doesn't really matter with modern technology.
It's little pixels like this one that take skill. The detail you have in such a small space is great. I like it!
The legs movement is great - it's really smoth and very well readable.
I'm not sure about the head. Normally when we walk, our head goes up and down (during contact and passing positions = standard height; during recoil positions = a bit lower than standard height; during high-point positions = a bit higher than standard height).
