A sprite I did recently, in the Battle for Wesnoth style. The pose looks a bit awkward still, but I'm still trying to figure out how to fix that.

strange.. i like his pose. I like the whole thing overall. But I dont like the spear Handle and the fact that it doesnt look like the head is connected to the shaft.

Man, I haven't seen you around here in forever.

The pallete is a bit dead, and could use hueshifting; as you already said, the legs are strange. Perhaps try standing in such a position to gain better understanding of it?
