Yay for the noobtorials section, it has a good example of anti-aliasing now! =)
this actually can works fine for a basic tutorial :DDD... as ppl said, is a bit excessive in my opinion, but is good :D
It is excessive in part but overall good.
Nothing beats the eye test...if its jaggy, it needs AA.
The lower line of the top finger and the duck's bill has visual jaggies so that could use more/better AA.
Bottom right top finger has too much AA.
*Interesting that by the preview alone I knew this was a Sneep piece >.<
seems excessive in spots but not bad. you could aa the irregular line in the corner without increasing the width of the line
Yes, I'll fix the contrast. I guess the UI enviroment didn't bring that out.
It really depends what kind of style you're trying to go for. Otherwise I don't think people can say it's either bad nor good. In my personal opinion, you could have brought out the line strokes more by thinning out the some areas. The lines look quite stiff at some places especially on the ghoul-like creature. I think the shades you chose could also use a bit more contrast.
Curves appear thicker than straight horizontal and vertical lines. It's specially visible in the places where a long horizontal or vertical lines start to curve.
To keep the black/white balance, you have to sometimes lighten some black pixels, make them a dark grey.
Thanks. I can still see little things, but I'm hoping it looks presentable now. :]
I don't know what I was thinking when I first posted it.
