I haven't pixeled in ages. The thing is i reread all scott pilgrims, and got myself the game on ps3 and i fell in love with the pixelly goodness of paul robertson. Figured I might as well give a a shot at the universe and do the very pretty ramona flowers.

Not exactly accurate or wathever, but meh you get the idea

I believe you shouldn't even justify yourself about your stylistic choices. I love your vision and pushing limits is way more interesting than just following anatomical restrictions ( which does not truly exist ).  The impact is there, to me, you've achieved what you wanted to do.

@A.B. Lazer: I do admit i went a bit overboard with the anatomical distortions. It's something I do like to push to the limit of the ridiculous because to be honest if I don't i always feel it seems not enough volontary and more like anatomical mistakes. I have no idea if it's the right way to go but it's something i really enjoy to do. Oh and it's just a kind of a trademark of mine, i rarely do both arms, if any for that matter. I find it more fun to explore the human forms in the same way I would treat abstract art, without boundries or logic. I simply try to make it eye pleasing, if that ever works :P

@Carnivac: I do feel the same way as you there, although I am quite satisfied with the end result of this peice, there's a lot of pixelling skills I lost when i switched over almost full time to traditional mediums. Mostly patience :P

I can't help feeling that, looking at the rest of your gallery even stuff from years ago, you're much more skilled than this piece shows.

A bit (but big bit) overdone on legs (or underdone on body), but overall looks very nice, I have no problems with the style. Only question : where is her left arm?

@Adarias: Sorry to hear you hate it. :P As far as animation goes, that's really something I should get around to learn, I fail miserably at animation. Wish I didnt.

@Jalonso: Thanks you :D

@Mochimandias: Thanks, I was thinking about it and will probably do 1-2 more if inspiration knocks at my door again.

I love the design of this character! You could create a complete serie from that, great

WB!!!

You still got it.

Personally I would need to see anatomy like this animated in order to not hate it.  it's not clear from the still whether the style lends anything to make up for the distraction, but in motion it could have a wonderful life :).
