I always find idle animations hard, this is quite nice though. There's just enough movement to make it believeable. Really great.

Why The Shield ? - In animation (like in drawings) obtain a correct perspective and depth is difficult, maybe this is the reason why people do focus on the shield, the rest is fine, but maybe for the members are more usual to seeing a body, swords and hair in a stand pose, as opposed to a three-dimensional animation as good as you've done here with the shield. (this is only my point of view 
)

The mouth is a little odd to me because it takes up so much of the tiny face. Otherwise I like it a lot.
It's cute! I like how the animation may seem complex with only this little pixels :^)
