Um. I used either ptoing's or the pepto palette. Not sure which :@
Pixelled on a 192x264 canvas with frequent conversions to widepixel :)
Nicely done, at first I didn't realize it was wide.
Looks really cool!
This can be improved, but it's nice! I lke the way you used the palette.
I'm waiting for a BarbaC64raStreisand version
i don't mind the widepixel conversion. i think it fits with the style of the piece. it's the dropshadows i'm a little offput by. some parts of it were really neglected their shadow such as the rope ladder and the bannisters. but at the same time the lightsource seems to have no real effect on the character himself, who seems to be getting his light from the right side. if that were the case there should probably be a second dropshadow
all CC aside, i really dig the waterscape and i love the hell out of his face.
The conversion from single pixel to wide pixel I find rather noticeable on the character. His shoulders and the space between his legs is just too wide, something I feelyou didn't take into account when converting to wide pixels. Asside from the character however I like this piece. I also don't reallly get what's going on with the pirates right (our left) leg shadow upon the floor boards. It's like it's meant to be the shadow of the coat but the angle on it is off. I assume this is also to do with the conversion. Great idea but I think it would have looked better the way you origionally drew it.
Saying that this is still better than anything I could do. Keep at it. (sorry if this post sounds a tad negative)
