Dunno why they bothered. It was an incredibly bland and dull game even on the SNES and that had three of them all pretty much identical in gameplay. Much better platformers on the NES to begin with. Anyways this piece is strange in that it's a higher res conversion of a color/size reduced sprite to begin with. Nice work but odd.

Was that a NES sprite? He seems to look more like the Rare version of DK which was a bit late for NES so I would have assumed that sprite was from a Gameboy version of Donkey Kong Country as it seems to resemble a color reduced rendered sprite.
