Made for the graphics competition at the demoscene-event Datastorm 2011.

It finished third in the compo.

Amiga OCS/ECS chipset limitations, 32 colors.

Made with Grafx2 and Deluxe Paint on my (apparently immortal) Amiga 1200. A bit rushed in the end... I really like the sound of compo deadlines swoooooshing by!

I actaually like these colors on the original... the skin tones are more brighter, and it makes it have more to do with the title

Dawnbringer: I'm fully aware of the fact that the palette could do with tweaking, but I wanted to keep the ramp for the skintones pretty warm... and I also ran out of time.

ptoing: Yep, but I wanted a kind of flat feeling for those parts of the picture, but I agree on that I've could have worked more on them... Damn deadlines (and beer)!

Lovely use of dithering and colors :)

Doesn't look rushed at all! Good composition, color use and dithering.

Talking about the Amiga: it seems they made things a lot more sturdy back then - to last forever!

Good stuff, but I dunno about those "technology" lines, they seriously flatten the picture.

Oh, great stuff...some of your best work. Still, couldn't resist tweaking the palette to see if those skin-hues could be made to ramp a bit smoother: http://goto.glocalnet.net/richard_fhager/frost.png
