Them's some weird proportions (to me the hands just don't look that good), but a great band indeed. I can't say I'm broken up about them breaking up (heh) though; they had a full career and it's understandable that they'd want to move on to other things.
I guess it was for the best. They were on a production hiatus for too long, I'm not sure they were even enjoying "being a band" anymore. But of course, it's sad to think I'm never going to see them live or anything :C
About the pixel art, I really couldn't manage to portrait them properly, and I only noticed it when I was done. Right now I'm too lazy to mess around with it and try to make them look like their real selves, but maybe some other time.
Thanks for the comment (:
Uh, they could have done without such announcement, that would leave more freedom to them if they would like to play some one-off perfomances and of course fans would be happier, even if it didn't change anything in output. But everything Jack White says and does is for deep conceptual reasons, so he must have thought everything out.
They've been to Moscow only once in 2005. The performance was so energetic I don't know what to compare with it. I was dressed in red, white and black. To me it was one of the peak moments of 2000's.
And now to pixelart - I think sprites are cool, but need more likeness in faces.
The big Popeye/Megaman like hands were supposed to look like that. I was trying out a different style. But I guess it's kind of a opinion thing, because some people I shown this to said the arms are the best part haha
Anyway, thanks for the comment. (:
