I tried with 8 colors, but it wasn't working out so well for me. :( Like I stated, I don't usually work with a limited color palette. I don't understand why it would need AA since there are no outlines on the sprite. I appreciate the crit though. :D
170 colors, wtf. I think 8 colors are more than enough. With this color count, you could, at least, improve the shading and add some AA.

If I get rid of the dithering all together, when I animate it, it won't look like the plane is "vibrating," like with the last version of this I uploaded.
I would just get rid of the dithering, it's not really contributing to the piece much
Just to explain: I know it's a small sprite, but there are some parts that are visibly pixelled (for example, the white line at the top of the airplane and the general roughness). Obviously it wouldn't be a tough work, since you could just add some soft pixels here and there.
About the colors, I wasn't used to work with limited colors too. But this sprite, for example, doesn't need so much colors. Reusing colors wisely, you'll see that to pixel will be easier and cleaner.
