@tanuki, the large shoulder movement was mostly to emphasise the movement itself, as I have less pixels in the feet to do this, and it draws the eye (hopefully) a little higher to the head/chest area. It is a bit overdone for realism, I wanted it to exaggerate the heaviness/stompyness in her step though, needing more rotation to progress forward because of the stops to drop the weight instead of it 'carrying on' like in nimbler creatures.
@cure, thanks for that! I'd looked at it too long and couldn't pinpoint what I'd lost in the arm; I see I overdid the delay/swing so it looks uncontrolled more than relaxed
I'm not sure that her shoulders should move so much when she walks. The hips definitely should since they're so wideset, but it seems strange that from a sideview I can a nearly 3/4 view of either her chest or her back depending on which step she's on. The tail and head movement looks very good to me. Her left arm also looks very good because it's like it has a casual, slightly limp, swing to it. It's just the torso and right arm that seems to move a bit too much.
very nice! you should think about animating an attack for her. i plan on animating solar beam for a bellsprout but im not very good atm lol
