That's what I'm doing with my A1200, getting one of those 4GB compact flash thingies.
@DrawBringer : thanks a lot ! I'm going to use my Amiga again and make it my pixel art machine !
I think it would be good if I upgrade it with a CompactFlash drive :)
Oh amiga how we love thee
*takes his old A600 down from the shelf*
Well, the motherships of original pixelart are Deluxe Paint (DPaint), Brilliance and Personal Paint (PPaint). DPaint and Brilliance are probably best (B. is my fav) but they can't save files in common PC-formats...but PPaint can, so it's good to have for that reason alone. There's also an Amiga version of the multiplatform program Grafx2.
OH AMIGA ;__;
my first computer/console/playmate EVER.
my facebook avatar is an amiga!
@DrawBringer: because I'm not an Amiga user, and I don't know well the software available on this platform. I bought this Amiga in 2007 or 2008. It works well but I only use it for some old video games such as Project-X, Turrican II, Lemmings... etc
Anyway, if you have some suggestion about wich software to use to make pixel art easily then export it to a PC running Ubuntu or Windows, tell me =)
So why didn't you use your Amiga to make the picture?
Cool clean rendition. Reminds of early macintosh graphics.
So clean and so good! I recently purchased "Universe" game for my 1200 which has been expanded to 6MB with an 68030 chip. Was my main machine for animation until the move to PC.
