Haha, thanks for going through the trouble for my eyes! I quite like this one, I think both your entries are great and perhaps the top 3 for this challenge. :)
Seriously?! hmmm....Going to replace the link and the image itself now >>
Oh no :l okay, so....i edited the description and added a link to it. Hopefully everyone who couldnt see it before can see it now.
@|||| Thanks. And yea they are supposed to look horizontally stretched ( decided to use wide pixels instead of normal pixels for a couple of reasons: 1) I've never used wide pixels before and thought it would be cool to use them. 2) The canvas looked way too empty with normal pixels )
My other option other than wide pixels was to repixel the whole thing but bigger but meh, i kind of liked the wide pixels feeling so i kept it.
@Riva Hmm when i was doing it, the way it rested seemed okay to me, but now that you mentioned it, it keeps bothering me =l. And yeah i guess you could shade the bulb better but idk, i tried my best and that's what i came up with. Would you mind showing me an edit? Would really help :)
Very nice little still life.. though the pixels look stretched horizontally slightly in the larger version. I wanted to say this yesterday but forgot my log-in pass heh.
I like the style and it has a certain quality overaly.
The bulb (both in preview and image) is not shaded well. I would define its shape 1st, then choose a differen - cleaner - way of stylising the glass material. Also it doesnt rest right on the surface.
like it, although it seems like the whole is a bit squashed (e.g. the sockets are oval in stead of round).
seems a older light
