I'll have a play around next time I get a spare hour not going towards studies or making games. I'm still dubious of spending the time to make a backdrop for this one though as the assets are unlikely to be used..

Great tileset! I like the colors as it is, but if you played around with the hues on highlights and such a bit more, it may look even better. I also agree with Mathias, a proper backdrop would do wonders for the setting here.

If I were going to use it for a game I'd include parallax backgrounds and clouds and whatnot but as it was a tile exercise I figured it would be better to only demonstrate the tiles. The colour might be a bit suffocating, but they're intended to be used in a dingy setting anyway.

Nope, this is for an excercise on Pixelation. I might do a game in this style at some point though.

Really neat. Right now, that bg is making it all look rather monotonous. Slap in a more interesting sky and these tiles will jive really well. They already do.
