because the gallery is for finished art, it's advisable that (when this is finished), it be submitted without the palettes in the final image
helmet looks great, but the clothes look too saturated and lack the contrast between shades that the helmet has.
The pure red over pure blue tends to create a 3D effect on a LCD screen that has pixels made of R G B : the right edge appears dark, the left edge appears light.. If it gets too distracting, you may want to use less saturation.
About animation, it would be easier to judge from an actual animated gif, especially since you show 5 frames but I guess you intend to do a 6-step animation. Overall the character is rather stiff, but for a running animation it's not necessarily a problem as it will keep the character very readable and "stable" while moving. Some people make a helmet "jump", by following the movement of head with 1frame of delay (ex: Ghosts n Goblins); you may try that, but the character is small, so 1 pixel can be too big a movement.
