Well you are, but did you actually choose over 200 colors to put in this piece? often color counts that seem unnaturally high are due to compression issues or leftover marks from automatic tools. for instance, what was your thinking behind placing the single greenish pixel in the hand on the right? or the orange pixel on the left hand? why does the highlight on the leg consist of no less than 4 colors? some areas that look like flat color planes actually consist of multiple, closely-related colors.
the piece certainly looks like you paid attention to pixel placement for the most part, so I'm not sure where the mountain of colors are coming from.
the problem seems to be some peculiar pixel placement, which upon inspection reveals 232! colors.
