A few updates to my previous piece. His walking animation is more fluid, skin tone is more detailed, and the color shading has been increased slightly.
In addition to the updates, next to him you should notice the small icon. In-game, this is basically the cursor used on screen. I got the idea from playing Reactor9, an adventure game by Bernie.
Left clicking would direct the character's movement. Right clicking would show the three buttons that determine the actions, which are:
Lips - Speech: Used to talk to or verbally interact with people or objects on-screen.
Eye - Look: Used to observe people or objects on-screen.
Hand - Touch: Used to hold, touch, or physically interact with people or objects on-screen.
Moving the mouse around would shift between the different actions. Letting go of the right click would initiate the action that is currently highlighted in BLUE. I don't know if I'll stick with this type of system, but it does seem like an interesting, albeit more complex, gameplay element. |
just remember that when the legs are spread, he won't be as tall, so the torso should drop, because the hips drop.
