Just a little something for a new project I'm working on. It's basically an idea for a shoot em' up, which for now I'm calling JunkBall! This is basically the supposed picture of the main character on the title screen.

The flashing part of the pic shows the robot using a type of magnetic charge, the basic ability I plan on it having. It's supposed to have the ability to pull metal objects towards it using magnetism, and reverse this ability to throw the objects into enemies at very high speeds.

And also, I meant to give this an 8-bit color scheme. Does it look right?

It comes from a basic NES pallette that I found elsewhere (well I'm not sure if the colors should be considered genuine but it does appear so).

I also plan on it being able to initially repel objects forward. However I haven't done much work on the repelling animations yet, and I'm not completely sure about how the firing system will work.

I'm not too sure on what color scheme it's using, but I like it either way!  Are you planning on having it repel perpendicular to it's body, or will it have some kind of directional (i.e. it only repels forward)?
