imo this could benefit from a grey background like in the preview, the white is quite hard to see on my theme. Is the part in the preview intended to look like a kickass skull? :o

It's pretty cool overall. The effect of disintigrating into pixels looks really good. The thumbnail is facing the wrong direction though. If you look at your own hand in that position the thumbnail should point in about the same direction as the index finger instead of straight at the viewer.
The hand is pretty goddamn impressive, nice work
