from the torso down, this is really well done, but towards the top it starts getting really grainy and messy. like, i can't even see what's going on with the design kind of messy :P
You have left a challenge in the description, so here goes:
I'm not a huge anime fan, so I'm only vaguely familar with Evangeleon. I think this is Asuka's unit, and I think she has a habit of rushing blindly into battle without prior planning. I guess you could call this "Leeroying" as a reference to to infamous Leeroy Jenkins, of WoW fame.
Am I even remotely close?

True... I build it in segments, and I guess it came out so messy from the proportions I was trying to work with. I wanted it to be much smaller, but just had to make it bigger. Thanks for the comments.
