Once the challenge is closed, entries can't be added, even if the mods wanted to, as it's automated. If we tried to add it to the challenge, it would just be added to this weeks challenge instead. Besides that, it'd also pose problems of playing favorites and allowing you extra time where others had none. My advice is not to wait until the last minute to submit, as we can't do much to help you if it doesn't meet the requirements.
