Your best ever pixelart!...I may have to vote for you for overall improvement alone :)

Truly, this shows a lot of improvement in your pixels especially in color choices, contrast and overall definition/readability.

Keep it up and try to define your light sources a bit better in future work. Like this guys belly is almost 'pillowshaded looking', k.
