Started off with the NES palette then got the bright idea after finishing her to make her to NES hardware specifications, first time trying! Reworking it to be valid to them took more work than it did to sprite!
Transparency was what made her difficult though. Many of the scanlines are maxed out at 8 sprites which is useless to a real NES game (not to mention she takes up the whole screen) but whatever. =w="
11 colours used, including transparency, in 32 background tiles and 64 sprites with 4 sprite palettes and 1 background palette.

I agree with Perihelion, the hand could have used a bit more effort, but other than that you did an awesome job. 5/5.
