@Cure:  You're probably right (especially on  a lighter background).  I may go back and readjust the palette a little bit.

Kabutops was my favorite back in the old days, you did a great job there

Kabutops is easily one of my favourites. Love the shading , it really invokes a dark mysterious atmosphere that goes with the fossilized pokemon mood.

Great job. I don't think there is such thing as a right style for these, though. I'm loving how unique some of the ones that have been submitted are, including this one! Excellent job.

nice choice, he was definitely one of my candidates (as is Scyther). he feels a tad dark maybe, but smooth pixellin'
