Anyway, I updated some things. Mainly removing some AA and getting rid of the dither-AA (what was I thinking D:). Here is the previous version.
I'll try to post a WIP animation later, I haven't done one of those in ages.
Very fresh! The only thing I dont dig 'til death is that the AA is a bit too fuzzy in some places, but it's not that big a problem.
I just opened this up in paint, and i must say that the AA is incredibly intricate. I'll definitely be studying how you tackled those curves so beautifully and organically.

I dunno, I thought the effect of the black background was much cooler than the transparent background, but it's your piece. And yes, definitely the aa would take forever. I think it'd be worth it, though.
Yeah I like it on the black background too D: but I really wanted it to be placed on a transparent background. My thoughts were that it would be like creepy dendrites encroaching upon the image from the background.
Oh, and also, it would have taken a billion millenia to AA all of that (give or take a billion millenia) :P

The black border is really nice. Why not put some aa around it and upload that version?
