  Cool take on of the refernced piece :).  Mental BG too.  Works really well, although I would add more dithering to it.  Keep it up.

The textures and lighting are great, but you might want to put some anti aliasing on parts like the mace. The shiny golden orb on the shield could use another colour and possibly some dithering. I realy do like this piece and i think you've done well on it, but as I said it could use a touch up.
