masterpiece right here. Are you ever going to add color to this?
another pixel killer from Belgrade, Serbia & Montenegro, not fair!, not fair!
@everyone thanks for the feedback! This is my 50th piece here, so I thought I needed to make something special :D
Working in grayscale is something I will definitely explore again- without color, I can improvise and work on the details and shading without much worries.
I understand it may seem a bit noisy and busy- I was, actually, trying to see how much detail I can add to it, and I was always looking at it @2x or more zoom while drawing, so I guess it looks better when zoomed in a bit :)
To make it, I used Grafx2, a downright amazing pixelart-oriented editor.
I'll get to linking a hue-shifted version, as soon as I decide which one to use :)
Excellent work, I'm flattered to have inspired it :) Now I have to FAV it!
Also, lovely take on the theme. I'm curious to see the hue-shifted version. Skamocore is probably right, since the challenge is explicitely grayscale perhaps it makes the most sense to just link to the other version from the description.
Wow... amazing work! I almost wish it were huge (like mural-sized), since the composition is so grand. I'll imagine that it is.
the pixel technique is certaintly great. But I feel like all the extra detail you added in at the end is actually detracting from the overall image; it seems too busy now. Great interpretation of the theme.
Wow, I love it! It's amazing what you can do with just grayscale, eh? :D
You could just link to the other version in the description?
