I like the creature but the fire doesn't look to convincig to me :)

If you want the creature to look cartonish (like in hmm... "Looney toons"?) then colors are fine, but if you want it to be more natural, then you might think about changing them to be less contrasting (if it's a good word here, lol) maybe?

It does look better zoomed 2 times than 1:1.

There's a lot of partially transparent pixels on this. I think they're mostly around the edges of the bird. Isn't this the exact same file you already tried submitting here? If it's not, it doesn't seem like the problems with it were fully fixed.
