if it's going to be abstract shapes, then such simple work should probably really focus on the interplay of the pixel shapes and balance of the piece, imo
I like abstract art sometimes, but I think usually it tries to convey an idea/emotion/experience/etc. to someone without making an imitation of something from the real world to do that. For example, literal art would show happiness by drawing someone smiling, but abstract art would show happiness with the color yellow. That might not be the best example, but that's the basic idea as far as I understand it. In this here I'm not sure what is meant to be conveyed.
I find it pretty at the very least.
