great shading (light on helmet stays right in place), great animation, cute proportions. maybe it would add some atmosphere to give it a slightly different hue in the darks than in the lights... (don't know how it fits in into where this is supposed to be used for)...
Agree with Delicious/Manu, all the subpixelling on the helmet makes it seem a bit over-animated. I think it should be mostlyly stationary, maybe have the visor bounce a bit as he walks. Cool sprite regardless though, love the lower half.
subpixeling mastery! in one second I´ve recognize your style, fav for learn ^^
Usually it is hard to say CUTE for something mechanical, but this is just too cute for words
Very nice work, the mouth piece of his helmet seems to reshape though :/
Still, the colors are well picked, and the lightning seems to be fine, so nice job :P
Fantastic shading and colors.
A few anim nitpicks: there is more subpixelling in the top half than bottom half; the way the hands are at their lowest at the most forward arm position is confusing (most serious point I think); not sure about the dimming shoulder highlights; the knees might raise more at their highest in the forward move (there is not enough difference with the backward move because of the daring perspective).
@artistictiger
Elemental Gimmick Gear. It's a kind of Zelda clone. With robots.
Something I find a bit iffy about this animation, it might be that his helmet (?) looks like it's made of jello the way it jiggles when he walks. Regardless, awesome job and beautiful colors as always.
Nice colors! another fav of mine lol...mind telling me what obscure dreamcast game that may be?
Really cool, imagining a sci-fi game with mysterious cold colors from this
