The background thing is there so I could do a little anti-aliasing on the edges. I tried to get the shading and volume right, but I don't know about the colours.

Heh, from the preview it looks like an apple. I almost didn't click.

It is nice, but I feel like the lower stem isn't as smooth as the upper one, there is a distinct jag in it.

Good job otherwise, I like it.

color edit. the darkest color is rather dull and desaturated, fruit look nice with bright, lively colors.
