Well not like you're trying to be deceptive or anything so all is well I suppose :) You'll probably feel more satisfied if you make your own patterns, and it will give you a chance to get creative and get into the culture a bit.
Dusty sums up my position. I think making your own pattern would be best, even if it's modelled after/inspired by the texture from that site. And, while I hate to be the grinch that stole pixels, I'll probably have to revise the other piece until the pattern has been replaced. Should've looked it over better before I approved it, so my bad. I think allowing it would open doors that are better kept shut, however.
Well, I didn't really know what to call it.
I think I'll just make my own pattern, I don't like grey areas :z
(By the by, I'm a big fan of your minecraft texture pack :>)
A collab implies two(or more) people actively cooperating to make a final piece. This is more like just using someone elses graphics to fill in the blanks in your work. Does the person you credited even know about this, for example(as someone collabing would know about what they're working on)?
Two people making a game together would be a collaboration. A person using free-use graphics to finish a game he's coding wouldn't really be a collaboration.
Hm, I figured it would fall under the collab rule too, the first one passed so I hope it's not a problem
And I changed the link, thanks
edited my comment btw. this is a hazy area, so allow a bit for the staff to talk this one over.
Haha, I didn't think people would recognize it that way :P
we will not let you go (let him go!)
so wait... the pixel pattern isn't made by you? 'cause that's kinda half the piece (this would be a better link to have btw). I'm not sure what this means for gallery submission (might be able to pass under the 'collab' rule. missed the credit on the last submission, thought it was all yours),
Thanks, I'll get right on that :>
And dusty, what do you mean get into the culture? I'm an Arab :P
