"Unbeknownst to humans, angels live among us every day. They blend in with society and lead normal lives. An angel can be anywhere you go. They can be the talented doctor that saved your life, the clerk at the store you went to, even the homeless person you passed on the street.

Some angels have lost a lot of their angellic abilities, but have assumed the role of Heaven's Messengers. Those who have not lost their abilities lie in wait, prepared to protect the earth from the devils of Death-- but they have not been needed for hundreds of thousands of years.

One fateful day, the devils decided to rise again and attack the earth. Normal military was unable to quell the threat of the daemons, and more power is required. Those of great angelic ability are summoned to the gates of Heaven. These chosen angels are known as the Animus Guardians. Outfitted with special spirit gear, the Animus Guardians descend down to Earth to quell the demonic threat once again."

Animus Guardians is a possible pitch project that I'm currently working on fleshing out. It will likely be a sidescrolling SHMUP similar to games like Gradius and Sin and Punishment 2. Levitas is the classic "well-rounded" character, armed with the H28 Angelic Rifle, with a high refire rate and decent damage.

Also "working" on this is seriously killing time while I wait for more work. Derp.
